a wedding
The snow collects the good with the bad, as can be seen when it melts. This blog is my snow, holding onto my experiences. |

Thanks for paying me a visit too. How's home? posted by: SparklingSnow (reply) post date: 06.16.05 (6:44 pm) Reply to: AC Home's pretty good. I like it here, but also miss CA. I know Aaron doesn't have the Internet right now, and just got back to CA yeterday, so those are some reasons why he hasn't written recently- I can't vouch for the other guys. I'm glad I have the time right now to update the blog. :) and thanks for commenting- I love feedback! posted by: Aro (reply) post date: 06.18.05 (10:52 am) setting up for the wedding was interesting, too. We had to open up salt shakers that had become crusted shut, put a lot of champaigne on ice and move the bar out of the mud that it unstably was sinking into! We were there almost all day long, as were many others, but it was worth it. I haven't been to a wedding since I was old enough to understand them, or to get married myself either. It's still weird to see friends get married, but I am happy for them! PS - Magagascar was another night I think, Erin. The bachelor/ette parties were later in the month, after I had been sick for a few days, so I'm pretty sure I just went to bed afterwards! posted by: Erin (reply) post date: 06.18.05 (12:56 pm) Reply to: Aro it was after the wedding, not the party, that we went. Because Nicole and Cory and Ed and you and me were all at the wedding, and we were debating helping tear down, but we'd been there so long already. It was first wedding I've been to where i was friends with the bride and groom. Another time was people at church and another was my cousin who lives in Montana. I actually know Brett and Autumn better! It is weird to have people our age get married, but I have a friend that got married 3 years ago, and you have friends that are married and have kids, so while I don't know if the weirdness will where off, it's quite normal to get married at our age! (I'm not in a rush) posted by: Aro (reply) post date: 06.18.05 (1:25 pm) Reply to: Erin I guess both of our parents were married by the time they were our ages! zow! I think weddings and marriage should always be a little weird. They are the result of a confluence of strange, powerful and hopefully wonderful forces and shouldn't be taken lightly or for granted!! posted by: Erin (reply) post date: 06.19.05 (11:51 am) Reply to: Aro I agree about weddings/marriages, but my dad was 26 when my parents got married. |
