I tried to do one once, stayed up until 2 in the morning doing it, actually . . . and then realized I had made a mistake somewhere, got mad and went to bed. I don't know about the clips though! The NY Times?? posted by: SparklingSnow (reply) post date: 01.31.06 (4:10 am) Not the NY Times. Just on-line somewhere. What I was really getting at was: what are those clips referring to? posted by: Aro (reply) post date: 01.31.06 (7:55 am) The atomic bomb?? posted by: SparklingSnow (reply) post date: 01.31.06 (12:00 pm) Yes. My current job involves bombs. OR the property that they once were played on. Is it just me, or does 1 1/2 million acres sound big to any one else? I guess is there are posted by: trickangle (reply) post date: 02.01.06 (10:02 am) Would you mind explaining what the comics were in the Post that you liked, as they reset every day? Thanks! On an unrelated note, I'm confused as to how these "clips" are supposed to relate to the a-bomb. posted by: SparklingSnow (reply) post date: 02.02.06 (4:01 am) Reply to: trickangle The Mutts comic: 1 "Close to Home" take place at the desk in an emergency room, with a guy who is basically fried- still sizzling, and some of his clothes are burned off. He says to the receptionist: "Insurance card? Sure, there you go," and it's a melted wad, that's also sizzling. With that comic at least, you can scroll back to others dates. Another comic had made a reference to Eddie Bauer, where I had worked this past summer/fall. As far as bombs go, they are about land that was designated for bomb research, the first quote about the idea of such a destructive bomb, the second, about the land, and the third, a sign from the property. posted by: trickangle (reply) post date: 02.02.06 (11:31 am) I feel like the culprit is some sort of technical breakdown. All I am seeing in your posts are dots where I think you expect important info to appear. So all I see is weird fragments of sentences with dots in between like ellipses. Not sure what the problem would be -- it doesn't work on my mac or my pc. posted by: SparklingSnow (reply) post date: 02.05.06 (8:04 am) Reply to: trickangle This is all I quoted: was first conceived in. . . because of . . local farmers, only one and a half million acres were allocated. "What you see here, What you do here, What you hear here, Stays here." ------------- posted by: trickangle (reply) post date: 02.05.06 (8:34 am) Well here's what I saw for your one comment: "The Mutts comic: 1 cat: "Look out!" 2 3<. . .into cat> and it's cute like they're hugging, and is just 'so January.'" What the heck does "2 3<. . .into cat>" mean? posted by: SparklingSnow (reply) post date: 02.10.06 (5:17 am) Reply to: trickangle hmm. . . I don't know it looks that way! I had 1,2,3 as the 3 panels- 1)the dog is walking along, 2)slips on ice, 3)slides into cat. Sorry I didn't see the confusion earlier!
