The snow collects the good with the bad, as can be seen when it melts. This blog is my snow, holding onto my experiences. |

posted by: Amber (reply) post date: 06.15.06 (9:39 am) Well mine said that I was either a wild dog or an owl. I can see a lot of my attributes in the wild dog posted by: sparklingsnow (reply) post date: 06.15.06 (9:54 am) Reply to Amber: interesting combo. the owl i can see in some aspects- I agree more with the wild dog, especially the part about taking an idea and running with it. when I had browsed the personalities earlier, the wild dog is one that stuck out to me, and now that i see a good friend is one, that makes me smile and today wasn't the day, I guess. I didn't talk to the guy. wasn't the opportunity, and i sure wasn't approaching him in his office. grrrr posted by: natala (reply) post date: 06.15.06 (10:44 am) well... regarding guys, i actually told matt that i liked him :) It was mainly because we were hanging out a lot, and I knew I had feelings for him, that were not friendship... And I knew that i could not just be friends with him, and I was at some point going to have to be not honest, if I was being friends with him, in hopes that one day he would like me as well, and then pursue me. So I decided, I just needed to be honest with him, and tell him where I was (mind you we were good friends) it turned out well, as you know :) So... This is a much longer story, that I'll have to continue later :) And... I am an Owl :) just like Madonna and Brad Pitt, and also heads of state, now that's a combo ;) posted by: sparklingsnow (reply) post date: 06.15.06 (11:11 am) Reply to natala: your story does have a happy ending! married and obviously loving each other... i def want to hear more of the story. and i may loosen up later on, but i'm cocooning myself for everyones sake for the time being. I'm working on a better way to vent than lashing out at those I care about the most. posted by: bronwynj (reply) post date: 07.03.06 (10:50 pm) "...if a guy likes you, he'll let you know and go great lengths to be with you..." - this is what I wish I had, don't settle for a wimp, don't chase a man, is my unsolicited advice. :-) I'm planning to read "the classics" too, as a challenge, as an achievement, to improve my vocabulary, to be among 'the elite'! hehe posted by: SparklingSnow (reply) post date: 07.05.06 (2:48 am) Reply to: bronwynj oh- i love advice. it's great to at the very least get others' perspectives. As far as guys go, I've calmed down a bit, and am enjoying being friends and going from there. and I'm just finishing up 'One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest,' and will watch the movie afterwards. if you're interested in psych wards or what someone on drugs writes, I may recommend it. I love reading, and def think it's a great way to expand my vocabulary (now as far as using the new words in the right context, that's another thing). Hope you had a good 4th of July, thanks for commenting! |
