The snow collects the good with the bad, as can be seen when it melts. This blog is my snow, holding onto my experiences.

If you're in the market for twin (XL) or full sheets, you may want to check out Sears.  Here's an example: Sears result .  In the store I was at, there wasn't a sign, and it didn't scan for me, but it was $15.97 (regularly 49.99).  There isn't a thread count posted, but they should be just fine for that price.  I'll write an update once I've used and washed.

My friend and I are making curtains for my new room in the new place I'm moving to in a week or so.  They're navy w/ silver stars and moons.  I may go for a night theme in the overall decor.  It's hard to balance personalizing things w/ a budget sometimes.  Or at least for things in a nonpermanent place.  Why invest much when who knows how long it can be relevant? That, and i want to make sure I'm not spending beyond my means.  What's most important in the long-run?

No spending beyond your means is important indeed in the longer run :)

An idea: At the craft shop, they have papermache stars, moons, and suns that are inexpensive. You can be crafty and paint them with the craft acrylic paints.

thanks for the ideas! so far, I have white foam to paint w/ this glow-in-the-dark i found. that way, it'll be nearly invisible in the daylight (most of my room is light, so it'd take a bit to transform it to night).
