'there's no place that i'd rather be.'
i've got traveling in my blood. every place i've gone has had something cool and importand and/or inspiring about it. it makes me want to travel more. i've been in Wisconsin (minus the occasional hop over to Illinois) solely for the past not-even 2 months, and I have an itching to exlpore. I get that way during school, too- maybe being around the classrooms too much, inside the windows- but luckily, i have my car with me, and can drive to a cool suburb- or even past them!! One place i've gorwn to love is Savage, Minnesota. It's near Burnsville, which seems like a nice place, and is busy enough that there's a variety of stores/restaurants to visit- but Savage is past that, and just has hills and trees and love and peace. I can't explain why, but just cruising down there or having a picnic in the park is one of the best escapes for me. It's S/SW of Minneapolis. and planerides also fascinate me. It doesn't matter if I'm going or coming from someplace, and whether I'm tired or anything- just watching the land and clouds (clouds especially) is sooo great! I love different perspectives, and a ride in an airplane is sure one way to get that!! even seeing the (twin) cities as i land is really fun- last time i did that, i saw both groups of skylines, and the roads and houses and trees and lakes that connect them, and i related more to them being 'twins' than ever before. maybe i should look into a career that gets me on planes often! :) wouldn't that be fun?! at least w/ seeing and enjoying a variety of places, i know that wherever i go, for whatever amount of time, there's something neat about it that makes the experience even more worth it.

I've been to their library a couple times, and had a few picnics and studying times- I just LOVE the area! Even Burnsville is pretty cool- I went there more '02-'03 than last year, but I enjoyed it so much the few times I went, that the positive impact has me liking to go back.
