I often get repeat dreams that make no logical sense based on anything going on in my life, but my mind still hangs on to them it seems without reason or care. I can usually only remember my dreams when I get woken up in the middle of them, though. I mustn't have been dreaming today. Oddly enough, Security banged on my door, unlocked it, proceeded to turn and shine a flashlight on the wall right next to the inside of my door, said to me in partially raised voice "Just looking for someone," and then turned and disappeared (without checking any of the obvious places to hide in a room such as mine). It was about as bizarre as a dream, but it was real, and has me sitting here on 4 hours of sleep. posted by: dahar (reply) post date: 08.13.04 (9:13 pm) I love cats!!! posted by: chrisflea (reply) post date: 08.13.04 (10:44 pm) When I was a kid I had a re-ocurring dream. My big brother was chasing me around my grandparent's apartment building. I always liked that dream seeing how I am the oldest and always wanted a big brother. posted by: old roomie (reply) post date: 08.15.04 (6:31 am) As a little girl I would have a recurring dream that I was watching my Mom, Dad and sister slowly turn into clothes hangers. Right before my eyes they would change into twisted metal hangers - in horror i would watch myself begin to slowly evolved - then I would wake up. Bizarre! I actually woke up scared and frightened every time! posted by: SparklingSnow (reply) post date: 08.15.04 (5:42 pm) Reply to: cb Did you ever find out about that guy and Security? and I get really into my dreams- they often seem more real than waking life- but I don't know if they hold more weight to me than jsut thoughts/worries I've had. posted by: SparklingSnow (reply) post date: 08.15.04 (6:03 pm) Reply to: old wow- what a thing to wake up to! I'm glad you and your family haven't really turned into hagers! posted by: cb (reply) post date: 08.15.04 (9:04 pm) OMG hope! You never told me that! That is bizarre! And no, Sparklingsnow, the security escapade is still a mystery. |
