a few of my favorite things
The snow collects the good with the bad, as can be seen when it melts. This blog is my snow, holding onto my experiences. |

(And the title is really hard to see.) Hope serves as one example of how to redesign the right way! When I first saw the header she picked, I didn't think she could do it, but she made it turn out awesome! Hopefully you can do the same. posted by: SparklingSnow (reply) post date: 02.10.05 (1:21 pm) hmm- now the page seems too busy (w/ me in the background) but i like the purple, and I'm out the door, so I'll leave it as such for now. posted by: newbie (reply) post date: 02.10.05 (2:24 pm) Reply to: SparklingSnow Perhaps you should change your name to "things that collect snow." And the background photo concept is hideous. No offesnse. posted by: trickangle (reply) post date: 02.10.05 (2:29 pm) Reply to: SparklingSnow That was me. I thought I was signed in, but alas, i was wrong. Btw, check out my new post on "homohorseplayuality." posted by: hopie26 (reply) post date: 02.10.05 (8:00 pm) You'll get the colors down :) good luck.Try some deep, terrific blues in your background behind your text. As for my page, I just got lucky, Chuck :) posted by: trickangle (reply) post date: 02.11.05 (11:29 am) Reply to: SparklingSnow Liking the black, but you still need to change the purple. But I'm liking the black! posted by: SparklingSnow (reply) post date: 02.11.05 (11:32 am) Reply to: trickangle it's actually a deep green- and I wish I could customize a color, but for now I'm sticking w/ this dark scheme. Hope- thanks for the encouragement! posted by: trickangle (reply) post date: 02.11.05 (6:42 pm) Reply to: SparklingSnow It seems too dark now. I like the deep green better than the actual black. posted by: trickangle (reply) post date: 02.11.05 (6:43 pm) Plus, it's impossible now to read the old posts where you had black text. posted by: newbie (reply) post date: 02.11.05 (8:27 pm) Reply to: SparklingSnow I love the colors now. They remind me of a lush forest bed with moss and quiet crickets chirping! Hmm, I guess I just really need spring to be here! posted by: hopie26 (reply) post date: 02.11.05 (8:27 pm) OOPs, that was me commenting about the lush forest bed. It looks good enough for me to curl up on and take a nap. Wish I could! posted by: Erin (reply) post date: 02.11.05 (10:22 pm) Reply to: hopie26 thanks, Hope! I'm glad these colors work well. and it sounds like a sort-of spring in Mpls! 38- last year for Vlaentines, I remember it being in the teens- I hope the warmth brings some spring into downtown! posted by: Erin (reply) post date: 02.11.05 (10:23 pm) Reply to: trickangle I can go back and edit the posts w/ black text. posted by: trickangle (reply) post date: 02.12.05 (8:11 am) Reply to: Erin It does look good. You've done a good job. posted by: Erin (reply) post date: 02.12.05 (8:20 am) Reply to: trickangle thanks |
