chemicals in bodies

The snow collects the good with the bad, as can be seen when it melts. This blog is my snow, holding onto my experiences.

chemicals in bodies
04.20.05 (7:36 pm)   [edit]
The good news is: I'm on the road to better.  The bad news is: in order to do so, I've had a root canal.  I've had a terrible toothache since Monday, hoping (like I do in many other situations) that if I left it alone, it'd heal itself.  Through this pain, I empathize more w/ anyone who has to live with physical pain.  I couldn't sleep- felt like I couldn't do anything!  The cause of the pain was an infection.  I wanted to hold out, since I'm still covered by my dad's insurance in the Midwest.  But that doesn't carry over here.  By the time the credit card bill is due, I'll have enough money- I'm much happier w/o pain, and although I'd rather put the money towards savings, health seems like a pretty fair deal.  I'm on antibiotics, and something like Viacadin. I go back next week to finish up.  Sorry if that grossed anyone out.
In other news, Aaron and I are bringing the main course to Bible study tonight, Chicken Tacos.  I'm really excited, and hope to eat (it's been avioded recently).
Other good news: I've met friendly people, I've talked w/ my dad, and the prescriptions cost less than I hoped for!

I feel so much better now- I was shaky/dizzy last night, but food and sleep helped, so I am pretty much normal today.

I've had 8 of those in the past year, none of which my insurance fully covered. I sympathize thoroughly.
